This exhibition analyses the life and times of the animal which symbolises the city of Rome, from the period of antiquity to the modern age, and presents conclusions drawn from the restoration programme.

The exhibition features ancient sculptures from the Villa Borghese Collection, prior to the setting up of the Villa Borghese Museum in the Casina delle Rose.
